Dentist Appointment

Zach and Lainey had dentist appointments this morning - this was Lainey's first time to the dentist!! She was a good patient, but cried during the entire check-up.
Zach was such a BIG BOY and laid in the chair and did everything Dr. Mitchell and Ms. Rebecca asked him to do. He earned himself a Mater toothbrush, pink hourglass timer and a plastic airplane. Daddy and I couldn't be prouder!!

New Park or Army Training Ground?

THE NEW PARK IS FINISHED!!

They have been working to replace the park in our neighborhood for the last month. The park opened today and Zach and Lainey had such a good time.

I took a SUPER CUTE video of Daredevil Lainey going down the slide headfirst, but it didn't download properly - boohoo. You'll just have to believe me that Lainey had SO MUCH FUN!!

Walking Lessons

We have decided it's time to get this girl walking!! Instead of carrying her out of school, I have been holding her left hand (so she can't suck her thumb - two birds with one stone!!) and walking with her to the car.

Zach has started to be such a good helper by holding Lainey's right hand. What a great big brother!!

I Love My Daddy So Much

This is the conversation between Zach and I during the drive home from school today.

Zach: Mommy, is Daddy at home?
Mommy: No, Bud. Daddy has a meeting tonight. It's just me, you and Lainey tonight.
Zach: Awww... I want my Daddy so much. I love my Daddy so much.

Oh my goodness... I don't think this kid could get cuter if he tried!!

Number 9

I was reading books to Zach and Lainey tonight before bedtime. Zach saw the number 9 in the book and said "Number 9 - just like my favorite quarterback, Drew Brees. My favorite quarterbacks Cinderella and Drew Brees wear Number 9."

Dad will be so proud... almost.
