UFO Sighting

At Daddy's suggestion, I packed up the kids and headed to the Lowes Build & Grow class this morning. Zach and Lainey made UFOs. I'm sure we'll be back soon for another fun project.

Circle Fries

I took the kids to Sonic about 3 weeks ago because I was too lazy to cook dinner. As I was ordering dinner for us, Zach kept talking about "circle fries." For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what he meant... even after he was explaining where to find them on the menu board. It wasn't until I was driving home, with Zach bawling as loudly as possible, that I figured it out. ONION RINGS!!

Well, I had another lazy evening last night... and Zach was happy as a clam eating his corn dog and circle fries!!

Time for Bed

Daddy read books to Lainey and left her sleeping peacefully. Mommy put Zach to bed, then again, and finally Daddy got Zach to stay in his room.

I left Zach's room about 8:45 after reading his books. A little after 9:00 Zach comes out of the room looking for Daddy. We both go in again to soothe him back down. Then, as we are watching the Texas Rangers, Zach comes out of his room again carrying his number flash cards... at 10:15!! Daddy goes into Zach's room and finds that Zach has turned his light back on and was reading and playing with his toys. So much for his "I'm very tired" that he keeps talking about!!

Happy July 3rd

Holy smokes!! It has been such a long time since I have posted anything. I won't catch up from where I left off (because there would be too much) so I will pick up with July 3rd!!

We celebrated Independence Day with our good friends the Lofgrens. We spent a great day enjoying the Waxahachie town parade, grilled burgers and hot dogs and a Grand Prairie Air Hogs baseball. We could not have had a better day... or spent it with better people!!
