Zach is out of bed before 6:00 on most mornings, so I was a bit worried when I had to wake him up at 6:40 for a quick breakfast before school. Sleeping this late typically means that he's sick, but he wakes up with a big smile. However, that smile quickly fades as we're at the table eating breakfast.
Zach: Mommy, my tummy hurts.
Mommy: Maybe you're hungry, buddy. You didn't eat your dinner last night. Eat your waffle and I bet you'll feel better.
Zach: No, Mommy. I'm not hungry.
Mommy: Do you need to go and spit in the potty?
Zach: No, Mommy.
Mommy: Well... what do you think will make you feel better?
Zach: (pause) I think playing a game of Memory will make me feel better. Can we play Memory?

Ribaul Pizzeria
The Ribaul Pizzeria was open for lunch today. The kids could top their own pizzas with cheese, pepperoni, sausage or black olives.

Lainey's pizza had pepperoni, black olives and cheese. Zach's had sausage and black olives. He refused cheese even though Daddy and I tried to convince him that his pizza would taste better with cheese.

Play-Doh Man
Zach and Lainey are really enjoying the new Play-Doh set from Grandpa and Grammy. We don't have the pretty blue, green, pink and yellow that was part of the original set - it now is a brownish-gray color, since Zach mixed all of the colors together.
Play-Doh keeps Zach and Lainey entertained hours... which means that Mommy loves Play-Doh too!!
