After our family dinner at Cristina's (yummy!!), Lainey rode home with daddy and Zach was with me. Zach and I were talking about good people, bad people and school friends.
Mommy: Who is your best friend at school? Do you have a friend that you like to play with the most?
Zach: I don't like to play with Roger*. He hurts me.
Mommy: Yeah, Roger can play too rough sometimes.
Zach: Stephen* is my best friend. He tells me funny words.
Mommy: What funny words does he say, bud?
Zach: Lady Gaga.
All I could do was laugh!! Then, I had to put on iTunes so he could hear some Lady Gaga.

Five Little Olives...
Zach serenaded us during dinner tonight.
5 little olives on my hand and one got ate.
4 little olives on the counter and one got eat.
3 little olives on the table and one got eat.
2 little olives on the wash machine and one got eat.
1 little olive, now it's gone.
Baby sister tried to sing along!!

NOLA Weekend
We packed up the Explorer and drove to New Orleans for the weekend. The kiddos had fun visting with Grammy Noll, playing by the pool and going to the Global Wildlife Center and feeding the animals. I thought that Lainey would be afraid of the animals being so close, but she was the first one to put a hand out to pet a gazelle!!

Silly Sunday
Daddy spent all Sunday in the backyard sun a few weeks ago with the kiddos. The kids enjoyed playing with the sidewalk chalk on the patio, slide and themselves.
