Each kiddo was allowed to pick 1 book to read at bedtime tonight. Zach picked The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Lainey picked Three Little Pigs. She is such an inquisitive thing lately that it's hard to get a book finished with all of the questions that she asks!! Here is how it went tonight:
Lainey: Momma, I see the wolf's tail.
Mommy: Yes, Lainey. The wolf fell in the pot, but his tail is hanging out.
Lainey: Why? Will the pig eat him?
Mommy: Yes, the pig is going to cook the wolf in his pot and then eat him.
Zach: Yep, he's going to eat the wolf and his brothers. The wolf ate his brothers and so when the pig eats the wolf, he'll eat his brothers too. (giggle, giggle, LAUGH)
We may need to sideline this book for a while - too much violence. BUT... it sure is teaching some logic lessons along the way!!
