Zach: Mommy, it would be better if you were Daddy.
Me: Why? (slightly offended)
Zach: Because then you could sleep more and you wouldn't have to do the dishes or laundry.
Me: I love you, bud!! (with a huge smile)

After a long morning of baseball practice...
Me: Lainey, what was your favorite part of baseball practice?
Lainey: When it was over and I could go play on the swings.

Zach's soccer team, the Wolverines, played a game last night. The Wolverines won easily with a score of 12-2. Zach scored 3 goals and had 5 assists. Beast Mode in action!!

Lainey was allowed to choose dinner and a treat for Tuesday night. Without hesitation, she announced:
"We are going to Red Robin. I will have onion (pronounced on-yon) rings and a pink balloon. Then we will go to Culver's and I will have a cup of ice cream with Oreos on top. Do you want that too Zachy?"
